Tessie as she was know was born on the Kitchen Table of her family home in Newtown Co Clare Ireland. She was the 2nd born to Mary and Thomas Daly. Her Elder sibling a Sister died days after birth so I am quite sure Nans birth was bitter sweet in many ways.
When Nan was 2 and a half she boarded a ship with her Mother and Father bound for a new life in Australia.
They settled in western sydney and years later a brother Patrick came along.
I was told that Nan was quite wild in her youth and was quite a hand full for her Mum, a trait that I am sure she got from her Father who passed away when she was a young teen.
Years later she met and married my Grand Father Errol Absalom. They had 2 beautiful Daughters Margaret and Christina ( My mother ). My Nan became a widow after 5-6 years of marriage. Pop died on the operating table from a cerebal Heomorage.
She became a devoted Mum and raised 2 young ladies.
In later years when her girls were in their mid to late teens she met and married Robert Davison. They were great together and he loved and adored her. They faught like cat and dog at times but they could not be without eachother. True Love...
Then at the age of 40 Nan had a heart attack. It was found that she had a genetic heart condition and Rhumatic Heart Disease. She was instructed on how to take care of herself and given medication.
In 1985 her second husband passed away and missed him so much. It was around this time she became quite frail and her own health was not great. We did not know it till after her death that her Heart was failing. She was told she needed a heart transplant. She refused treatment and suffered in silence. We just thought she way dying of a broken heart.
Deep down she was and she missed he Bobbo.
Well with her family surrounding her we all said our goodbyes and she drifted into her final sleep in the early hours of the 26th November 1988.
She is now having a Craic of a time with her family.
Dont forget to save some Baileys and Guinness for me Nan...
Love you and miss you heaps.
You were the only one who really got me...
Till we meet again...
Your little pumpkin.

You Meant So Much
You meant so much to all of us
You were special and that's no lie
You brightened up the darkest day
And the cloudiest sky
Your smile alone warmed hearts
Your laugh was like music to hear
I would give absolutely anything
To have you well and standing near
Not a second passes
When you're not on our minds
Your love we will never forget
The hurt will ease in time
Many tears I have seen and cried
They have all poured out like rain
I know that you are happy now
And no longer in any pain
love theresa xx
SOMEONE WHO CARES
As The Sun Came Up This Morning
I Watched You There Below
Your Hearts Seemed Oh So Heavy
But There’s Something You Should Know
I’m Not Gone So Don’t Worry
I’m Just A Step Ahead
And I’m With You Every Single Day
As You Rise Up From Your Bed
I Am The Sun That Warms You
I Am The Moon’s Soft Glow
I Am The Stars That Twinkle
And Light Your Path Below
So When At Times You Miss Me
Just Look For Me I’m There
For You Cannot Hide My Spirit
It Is With You Everywhere.
